Real Life by Brandon Taylor is the first one I've read from the Booker Longlist that I definitely would have picked up even if it wasn't on the longlist. I'm happy to say, that gut reaction was the right one! I loved reading this book and loved talking about it even more. This video has slight spoilers. Nothing big, just references to events in the book without going into too much detail.
