We investigated one of the most haunted and abandoned prisons in Georgia… and what we captured on camera left us shaken.
Rivers South Prison sits on the same property as Central State Hospital — once the largest mental institution in the world. With a dark history of overcrowding, abuse, experimental treatments, and thousands of unmarked graves, many believe the land itself is haunted.
During our overnight paranormal investigation, we experienced real paranormal activity inside the prison walls. We heard disembodied voices, unexplained footsteps, and what sounded like something charging at us in the dark. At one point… we may have even caught a ghost on camera.
Is Rivers South Prison truly haunted? Or is something darker still lingering from the past of Central State Hospital?
