Houston-based authors and poets share new works inspired by the exhibition, Cauleen Smith: We Already Have What We Need.

Words & Art is a workshop and reading series inspired by the art in Houston, Texas. It was founded and organized by local poet and artist Mary Wemple. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in both English and Studio Art from the University of Houston and a MFA in Studio Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
