Hello my friends!
Thank you for all your tips on instagram on how to get the most from short stories, here I am employing them all and reading 'Send Nudes' by Saba Sams.
The tips:
1. Read a story at a time, do not plough through like a novel.
2. Only read 1-3 stories a day.
3. Read the stories slower than you ordinarily would or with intent to notice the description and words.
4. Try and read each story in one go.
5. Seek out connections/themes as to why they are in a collection together for better understanding.
6. Summarise each story with a few short words.
7. Listen to them on audio.
8. Don't have them as your soul read; intersperse with another book.
9. Put tabs on the first page of each story so you know how long they are.
10. Leave time in between each story to digest.
