For years I have wanted to read what has become known as the Septuagint aka the LXX. I have heard many claim it to be either a total corruption, or the inspired scriptures of the early church. I must admit I am not qualified to enter that debate, but I can read and share my thoughts. My version of choice was the Orthodox Study Bible from Ancient Faith Publishing, and translated by the Athanasius Academy. I felt this would feel most familiar because it used the NKJV as its foundation. Let me just say I was in for a surprise!
