For the #BlackLiteratureChallenge, I read The Famished Road by Ben Okri. Im about 25-33% in, and heres what I think of it thus far. I make comparisons to Spirited Away directed by Hayao Miyazaki and Freshwater by Akwaeke Emezi to help me process whats happening in this book.
