I do not condone or support the actions of Ariel and Rayleen and their dismissal of a very important piece of literature. I am not trying to accept or reject their apology on anyone's behalf as that is not my place. I have mindset on how I deal with ignorance and I am applying to this situation, this does not require you to believe it or agree with it. I have used this mindset on many occasions and I have built it out of the education I have received not only from literature but countless classes I have taken about sociology, race, gender and political science.
