[EDIT: After the recent patch update — AND the upcoming update in BETA as I type this description, the home glitch is completely removed. Both from the settings and the emote menu. I will make another video on how to protect yourself when they release the update.]

Conclusion: KRILLS CAN’T YEET YOU IF YOU’RE IMMOBILE.

1. [PATCHED] Home glitch;
Like in the video, you can use this glitch by accessing it through the emotes menu and from the gear menu (top corner). In case you panic, I suggest you use it through the emote menu so you don’t get your screen obscured and since it’s easier to access.

2. [PATCHED] Spam emotes;
The ‘deep bow’ is pretty easy to do (for me anyway) but you can also use ‘crab walk’, ‘scared’ and ‘play dead.’ Remember, if you’re unsure you can always just click the (emote’s) home button and scroll through the emotes to practice! :)

3. Double tap/swipe;
Depending on which device you use, you can double tap or swipe (if you have an iPhone X, etc.) to the multitask screen to partially exit the game. You can also swipe your control centre (IOS) and partially
take it out.
The game doesn’t allow krills to yeet your stars if you’re not in-game to the fullest or if you’re immobile. When you get caught, make sure the red light emitting from the krill disappears then you’re safe to re-enter the game. You’re free to wait for a few seconds if you want to be REALLY safe.

4. Falling;
You do this by flicking your screen to do a jump then clicking the ‘handstand’ emote. You can do this with other emotes that make you sit.

5. Items/Instruments;
If you wanna practice with krills make sure you’re seated at least. If you can move then SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR STARS.

DO: Piano, Drum, Mandolin, Guitar, etc.
DON’T: Harp, Flute, Bass, Horn, etc
Umbrella, Fireworks Staff also apply. You can move with them so DON’T—

6. Run away
Self explanatory. When you hide from a krill, the amount of time they see you is still recorded when you back back into their light. So use one of the techniques until they actually krill you so their time is reset lol.
