We literally waited for this to drop and watched it ASAP hahaha-
Avery & I weren't in the same place but no matter ;)
I seriously don't know what to say, I didn't really talk very much in the video about my perspective on the MV simply because I was super shocked and impressed in the moment & I didn't know what to say-
What I didn't film that night was me reading the lyrics immediately after, and the comments that said things like "he's telling us his story-" and if I can be honest for a second; after I read the lyrics to this incredible song, my love for it grew exponentially. I was ridiculously stressed the other night and feeling quite sad and overwhelmed... the timing of this song was unreal. I feel like I relate to what it can be interpreted as, and I can tell that's true of a lot of people...
I'm proud and impressed by Kang Daniel, not only in his ability to just keep producing hit after hit, but also because of his clear desire to express his experiences through his art and music. Connect with us on a deep level. It's really scary to show the world how you're feeling inside, or how you felt in your darkest moment/s. It takes someone with a lot of courage to transform that pain into art and then put it out there. I'm just so grateful he's at that point where he can do that :)
Okay, I really went on a little rant that time hehe... basically, I love this artist and this song and yeah. Proud to be a fan! This man goin' places :)
