Peter Capaldi announced he was stepping down as the 12th Doctor back in January and since then Doctor Who fans have been eagerly waiting conformation on who would be playing the 13th Doctor after him. It was even looking like we may find out in the Doctor Who Christmas special this year! But the wait is over and the news has broken. Jodie Whittaker will be the first woman to play the Doctor in 5 years. And I'm very excited.
Here's the thing - I was at work when the news broke and knew nothing of it, so here is my reaction to the news once I was finished, and some tongue in cheek commentary before hand!
