this certainly qualifies as a "great moment in atheist history"
this guy's district is part of the bay area, so i dont think he really has to worry about repercussions at the polls. all he has to worry about is the national media reaction (assuming there even is one) and the reaction of the public at large
to be honest, i didnt even know very much about pete stark before his recent decision, but i've done a little research and this guy is a fuckin badass!
he's down with john conyers, which is all i need to hear. who doesnt love john conyers??? if you dont, you can kiss my slender irish ass
as it turns out, stark has participated in efforts to bring legal action against bush, and has been voted the most liberal member of congress two years running
so to the conservative youtube atheists i say: in your face
