Resuming from where we left off, it’s time to meet Greg. Admirably, he was expecting the survivors to enter the Second Hall and explain his reasoning like any madmen from the Resident Evil series we have heard of before.
Seriously though, why can’t there be any rational researchers like Peter Jenkins who doesn’t want to focus on playing God here? Jokes aside, if you’re playing as Yoko, an additional cutscene will play here as Greg points out on how Yoko wants to “erase” her past memories.
What could this be? My assumption is that she may have played a small role in the development of the T‑Virus, which became a catastrophe, and the horrifying ordeal the victims endured left her permanently traumatized. Is this how Umbrella keeps its employees in line to avoid being held accountable over their inhuman experiments?
With this unique cutscene over, Nikolai had already set up the explosives around Raccoon University and assassinated Greg. After the shocking revelations itself, you will be given 7 minutes (Same time limit for each difficulty) to evacuate the University.
Before doing that though, obtain the Daylight so that you can cure yourself from the virus then bring 2 more. One to insert into the Ampule Shooter to instant kill Thanatos-R in the second phase and lastly, for the good ending of the specified character you have chosen in this scenario.
There are special endings that can be triggered if you and your partner managed to be alive but failed to use Daylight. These examples can be found within Cindy and George, Kevin and Jim, Mark and David, and finally, Yoko and Alyssa.
In addition, you can also trigger the bad ending, but your partner must die first, and you did not use Daylight at all. Now, exit the secret room and use the Testing Passage A route to get towards the exit faster.
With that out of the way, escape the University and armed yourself for the Thanatos-R boss fight. While you’re waiting for the timer to set off, now’s the time to plan ahead on what to do here through below:
1) After the University bursts into an inferno, get to the front door of the courtyard and exit through there.
2) Equipped the Grenade Launcher as you will need to shoot the lockers far away from the boss fight area to avoid triggering it. The best place to do this is at the small square hole located at the right side of the abandoned flatbed trailer, so stay there and keep shooting until the locker opened itself (0:12:12). Now, trigger the boss fight with Thanatos-R and dash to the locker to equip the one-shot weapon of this scenario, a damn Rocket Launcher! Who’s supplying these weapons at a UNIVERSITY anyway? The U.B.C.S.!? Whatever, make sure you make this count as it contains one rocket in it. Also, there is a chance on Very Hard where Thanatos-R may still be alive after being shot by the rocket explosion, so don’t celebrate just yet and kill it with several shots or hits and it will be down soon.
3) Don’t go into AFK mode as a second phase is ongoing in the Front Square, this will be the final battle against Thanatos-R, so let’s get going with this. There are 2 ways to defeat Thanatos-R. The first is to use the Ampule Shooter with Daylight and shoot at it. This makes the battle really easy if you’re struggling from the first phase. If you don’t have the remaining Daylight left, then you have to settle the old-fashioned way by using every weaponry you have in killing it. Upon completion of this final battle, enjoy the ending as the survivors escape the Raccoon City Outbreak and receive their respective conclusions. With that, this playthrough is finished.
Overall, thank you everyone for watching my playthrough from start to finish. There were a lot of bad decisions that I could have avoided if I practiced beforehand, but it was a great experience to play it as I have no recollection of this in the past, so I’ll definitely cherish this moment as one of the best days of my life, including the Outbreak community that helped me a lot in getting hold of the gameplay and controls itself. Adieu, until we meet again!

An unusual mix between the music track from Title and this. In the end, youll get a weird result of a good track, an example would be shown at 0:57. Enjoy!
