What would you need to know (or believe) about your future self to believe (or know) that your existence matters, even if in the humblest of ways?
Could it be that many people, somewhat tragically, end up being right in their attempt to prove their belief that life is basically a futile & meaningless game of consuming and reproducing while waiting to die?
Could it also be that other people, on the happier side, end up being right in their attempt to prove their belief that life is genuinely meaningful when one finds purpose and relevance by serving something greater than oneself?
How many "religious" questions are really self-disguised, metaphorical questions about self-understanding and possibilities of temporal, "spiritual" growth in the human being & self-other relations ?
To me, the only really religious question is: What is the fullest meaning of consciousness?
