Restored RC Tamiya Sand Scorcher.
I have changed the battery to a 7,4V 2200mAh 40-50C Li-Po battery (original 7,2V 1200mAh Ni-Cd), both servos to digital with metal gears, radio Rx and TX. The original battery box with 4 AA-batteries have bin changed to a 5A BEC.
The rest is original, inc. the motor and speedcontroller.
This car was a birthday gift to me from my grandmother, grandfather and uncle on my 9 years birthday 1983. Now, 29 years later, I found the same car in a museum! I decided to restore my old RC car, and here it is! :oD
