This is Part 1 of this RC Space Shuttle Series. I'm building a rocket-powered RC Space Shuttle from Scratch using foam board! This model rocket project is a new series on the Project Air channel, so subscribe to make sure that you don't miss the next installment.
We're using Estes solid rocket motors to propel a foam board space shuttle attached to boosters into the atmosphere for it to detach and be piloted back down. This episode sees the designing and building of the shuttle as well as some straightforward glide tests. The next episode will be a shuttle drop test from an R/C airplane, much like the Enterprise drop tests from a NASA Boeing 747.

Note! These are very vague and just what I used to make my own shuttle. I improvised some of the parts from foam board and you'll have to do the same.
