Fonk Recordings label boss Dannic is back on his own imprint with a brand new edit of Rayven & Valexx’s groovy weapon ‘Old School’.
The Italian duo consisting of Ruben & Valerio have been busy over the last year releasing melodic funk based bangers across respected labels such as Flamingo Records, Armada Music & Protocol Recordings, which has quickly established them firmly as artists to look out for in the future, thanks to support coming from the legendary David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo & more.
The up & coming pair’s new funky jam follows on from head honcho Dannic’s philosophy of helping out the new guys & pushing them to the top of their game, and with this edit, its clear that the three of them have done something right as ‘Old School’s’ groovy atmosphere will have everyone moving when it is played out.
The new record fits the theme of Fonk Recordings with its Latin-esque groovy vibe throughout, which is reminiscent of the great classic house artists who are huge inspirations to Rayven & Valexx. ‘Old School’ is a clever clash of funky house and Big-room that utilises elements of both genres in moments such as the epic breakdown and the funky build up to the second drop.
Label boss Dannic promises more anthems at his Fonk Recordings label night at ADE this year, which will feature Dannic himself, alongside Merk & Kremont, Pessto, Promiseland, Teamworkx, We AM, Will K & Loax. Tickets for the highly-anticipated event are available now at bit.ly/FonkAde2017

Known for his high end signature sound, Dutch DJ and record producer Dannic surprises us with his latest EP ‘Baila’. Out now on Fonk Recordings.
The title of the first track and the EP are commanding you to dance. As the impeccable production of this EP that contains 3 perfect tools to shake the dancefloor.
Dannic is a big fan of the early 90s rave house and techno music, and he beautifully blended those sounds in this EP.
The first track “Baila is an evolution of Dannic’s sound. He wanted to give the listeners some ‘ear candy’ to switch up the lead. The second track ‘Keep It Going’ has the same vibes in a more house language. It was a highly demanded track in Dannic’s recents livestreams. And the third and last track of this EP is ‘Pump It Up’ which is all about acid and grooviness. Also Dannic says that it can be a perfect track to get it going in the gym!
With this new EP on his own label Fonk Recordings and his very recent summer release on Spinnin’ Records: Dannic & Rumors - ‘Fighters Do’ featuring SWEEDiSH, Dannic has proven that he has what it takes to make high impact material resonating on an epic scale.
