Hi, I’m Vicky and I’m here at FramesDirect.com and I want to tell you about these Ray-Ban Oversized Clubmasters (also known as RB4175s.) These are actually a really interesting style because they’re a mash-up of two of Ray-Ban’s most iconic frames, the Wayfarer (framesdirect.com/ray-ban-rb2140-original-wayfarer-sunglasses) and the Clubmaster (framesdirect.com/ray-ban-rb3016-clubmaster-sunglasses). These sunglasses are unisex so they’re great on both men and women, especially if you like an oversized look (framesdirect.com/collections/oversized-sunglasses-dp).
So like I said, these Oversized Clubmasters are kind of like if the Wayfarer and Clubmaster had a really cool baby. The top of the frame and the temples are like a Wayfarer, made from plastic, and featuring those trademark metal rivets. The temples have this great retro shark fin contour, and of course the Ray-Ban signature is 3-dimensional, inset in the temple.
The metal bottom of the frame is like the Clubmaster. They have adjustable nose pads so you can make them sit right where you like them on your face. You get that prominent browline like with a Clubmaster but they have a much more streamlined look.
The RB4175s are called “Oversized” because they give you great coverage. I’m wearing the “demi shiny black arista” with classic crystal green lens. Oversized Clubmasters come in black or havana (another name for tortoise shell) and you can have your choice of many different lens colors (including green, pink, and purple mirrors, if you like that style!)
