This a quick and unedited recording of how to convert your Corsair SFX Platinum cables into 1 (or any value less than stock) connector.

The Corsair SFX Gold cables just have connectors that pop off and then bite into the cables when reconnecting. The Corsair SFX Platinum cables are double crimped, so they must be cut at the double crimp to shorten and to also avoid exposing the wire for shorts.

I don’t actually cut my cables as these are the stock cables that I want to keep intact. The cables I currently use can be found here: imgur.com/gallery/G5Sj3uK
