First foray into 360 publishing, and my best score so far at an aerobatic contest!
A lot of training and practice all comes down to 3 mins in front of the judges!
This was my first of 3 flights at the 2024 U.S. national #aerobatic championships.
I've got a "normal format" episode coming that shares the other 2 flights and some more detailed break downs and debriefs.
2023 was the first season I'd flown competitively, and if there's interest I will share more episodes about that too.
NOTE: The RV-14 does a good job at the Sportsman level (as far as I'll ever take it), but there are several compromises; Such a very heavy controls while rolling at full rate due to the lack of aileron spades, and flying from the left seat in a side by side seat configuration also adds to the challenge of precise aerobatics. But I'm having fun sharing this adventure! :)
