*** Read me*** For years I have been using the cheap plastic tripods and they really effect the look of your videos, and your ability to shoot good video. last year I looked around at Best buy, and camera dealers locally and found nothing that I was looking for, and then turned to the online world to see if I could find one, and they pretty much started at a couple hundred and still didn't have all the features I wanted, and they were over my budget.
Now one thing to remember is I use Tripods for Cameras, as well as Chronographs, and the cheap tripods nearly blow over due to the muzzle blast, so a more stable base for your Chrono will save you time and money, not including making your videos look better.
Recently I was looking on eBay and found this AVT tripod and it's great. it's everything I wanted and more, and for a price I could afford. The tripod sold for $79.99 with free shipping, so when you think about it your really paying around $50 for this tripod plus shipping.
They even sell a smaller tripod then this model (this is the middle model), and they sell a larger tripod that will handle a 27 lb load.
I'm very happy with this tripod, it's so stable and solid and does not wiggle every time I touch the camera. The Pan and Tilt is smooth and adjustable, and a pleasure to use each and every day.
I also highly recommend the company I purchased it from. they were quick to chip, and it arrived in perfect condition. it's so good that I hope to show you additional tripods from them in the future.
