A customer brought in power supply and controller board from his sauna, and he said it worked fine until the rain water shorted them out.
Since the 12 volt 3 amp power supply was in such bad shape, I found 20 dollar replacement and thought that would solve the problem, but as I began to look things over, I noticed the controller board had no logic functions telling it what to do from the controls inside of the sauna, and I discovered that rats had eaten right through the wiring, so I soldered it all back together and the unit works fine now. I mentioned that Decon Rat poison can cause Rats to become very aggressive from dehydration, but I mispronounced the name and called it Defcon rat poison. After splicing this wire the repair was successful.
