hollyleaf is appointed mentor of tawnypaw, then she finds him dead, killed by a fox.
much long later, jayfeather reveals the origin of their parents through water-projections. shocked and angry, hollyleaf turns against jayfeather for keeping the secret for so long.
during a fight, hollyleaf, jayfeather and lionblaze attack each other and end up at the old tunnels. jayfeather rushes in as hollyleaf follows, then the disturbed rocks collapse. hollyleaf sacrifices her life and gets jayfeather out until she is killed and impaired by the rocks that once held memories.
