My Reaction & Thoughts. The 3rd part of the Final Fantasy 7 "Remake" trilogy dropped in Summer Games Fest, and will launch in Spring 2027. Following FF7 Rebirth, FF7R Part 3 revealed the gameplay of Cid Highwind and Vincent Valentine, the Fit system (Dress Sphere from FFX-2), Fortnite parachuting, mini-games involving a baby Weapon and crystal shooting, and a new voice actor for Sephiroth. Starring Cloud, Barret, Tifa, Red XIII, Cait Sith, Yuffie, Aeris, Zack and The Whispers, and visiting locations like Mideel, Wutai, Midgar and the Northern Crater. We also got a glimpse of Ruby, Sapphire and Ultima WEAPON. A bait-n-switch butchery of the real Final Fantasy 7 (1997) by Square Enix, FF7 Revelation will be the final nail in the coffin for these Multiverse Sequels / Time Travel Spinoffs, and quite possibly the end of Final Fantasy itself. With none of your progress carrying over between games, retcons, rewrites, Disney musical numbers and bad fan-fiction writing, this will truly be the JRPG to end all JRPGs. Brace yourselves, it's gonna be brutal.
We also talk about how FF7R doesn't make sense as a remake of the original game, but makes perfect sense as a sequel to Crisis Core. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. ME? GONGAGA
