This is a SEGMENTED speedrun. Meaning I could splice together lots of different footage (I use like 50 different vid clips for this) of theoretically RTA viable strats. This is different to a TAS, as I can't go frame by frame, I have to at least be able to pull off each little trick, but I can insert all optimal loads etc.
I could probably make this a few seconds faster by cleaning up some stuff, inserting a few more "theoretical" things I have (not even tested yet) etc. But for now, this is cool. We get to see what a 7:39 run looks like!!!!
LITTLE SIDE NOTE: There are some weird ammo count jumps, bolt count jumps, camera angle shifts etc. This kinda stuff happens when doing a segmented run, however the timings are all sorted to be what they should be. Even if the camera jumps or ammo counts, be assured, it's handled. If you played this well in a run, you could get this time (but of course that's not possible lol)
Anyway, enjoy the run. This took longer than I care to admit, and I'm too lazy to make it better atm.

Run is still awful, have like half the lap skip timesave to go still. 18 is very improbable, but maybe if Im feeling it and get some time Ill try for it.")

Sorry about the reduction to 30fps and desync after the capture card crash in this run, literally nothing I could do about it.

WORLD FIRST SUB 8 MINUTE RUN! WOW!
This is huge. I genuinely am struggling to grasp the fact that this actually happened. This is, and may remain, the best and most significant thing I ever do in speedrunning, and so far, in life.
Its so amazing to finally see over 3 years of speedrunning effort turn into a run as amazing as this, and I couldnt be prouder. People are calling this the last minute barrier, I dont know if thats true, but regardless Im blown away to be apart of it.
