In the original Skidd never owned this place and his ship was crashlanded, so there was no explanation as to how he got off the planet and simply dissappeared never to be seen again until R&C3. He also says he'll see us at the Hoverboard races but all we see are 6 racers with the exact same skin, and Ratchet himself claims "he couldn't make it" so he's "filling in for him". Wat.
