Rashad Bilal of Earn Your Leisure went live and said Invest Fest was
never a Black thing — that there'd be more white, Hispanic and Filipino
attendees next year, and that he shouldn't have to break his back for a
community that tears him down. Isaac Hayes III, Boyce Watkins and half
the internet responded. Then came the public address, where he opened by
listing what Earn Your Leisure has done for you before ever getting to
"I'm sorry."
