Just a short guitar instrumental from Bron-Yr-Aur in 1970.
An interesting note, however, is that this song has the same chord progression as the chorus of Tangerine. It goes G, D, C, then D, G.
Could this be a very early version of Tangerine??

Heres the deal with this new soundboard..
Its only half the concert, running at about 90 minutes, out of the ~180 of the full Osaka concert. That kinda suggests a part 2 is on the way from Empress Valley, but thatd probably be a while to wait, given EVs timeliness habits.
I decided to remaster the old soundboard of the remaining parts of the concert, and fill the pieces in, being faithful to the original concert setlist.
Accounting for the obligatory Stairway removal, but barring any other copyright removals, itll be a 2 hour 40 minute-ish upload.")

Led Zeppelin at Fillmore West on January 11th, 1969; one day before Led Zeppelin I was released.
This is the first known soundboard recording of Led Zeppelin, and I really think this is an outstanding bootleg.
There were a few really quiet parts in it though, like the beginning of Dazed and Confused for example. I did what I could to boost the quiet parts without doing anything to the quality of the recording.
The entire middle section of How Many More Times is missing though, so theres one con to this bootleg.

Recorded November 14th, 1978, at Polar Studios in Sweden. This is notably over a minute longer than the album version, and features Jimmys lost solo at the end of the song. This also doesnt feature JPJs infamous keyboard solo in the middle of the song.
I was able to give this mix a much more polished sound. Compare to the original upload, which is somehow, by far, my most viewed video.

Ive never take the time to really focus my attention on this whole concert. This is an interesting soundboard, because of how strange the mix was. The vocals, bass, and reverb from the guitar and drums were all hard-panned to the left, and the meat of the drums and guitar were hard-panned to the right. Listening to the unaltered recording honestly reminded me of listening to an early Beatles stereo mix.
I tried my best to balance the entire thing by focusing on the right and left channels individually, then mixing them together into a satisfactory final mix.
P.S.
I am aware that the version of The Train Kept A-Rollin in this video sounds much better than the Cutting Room Floor version I put out literally 2 months ago.
Think nothing of it for now, other than that I always try to improve my abilities.")

The purpose of this project was to use recordings of the 1980 Tour Over Europe to create an accessible concert-length experience, in the style of the official concert albums like The Song Remains the Same, and How the West was Won. What makes this project particularly unique is that I combined the soundboard and audience recordings, using both perspectives to create a rich-sounding matrix for the entirety of the concert.
Rather than trying to select the overall best performances, I prioritized creating a complete, polished concert, without any awkward cuts mid-song, or anything that would detract from the listening experience. In searching for concerts to use for this, I settled on building off of the June 23rd and 24th concerts, due to both not only having full soundboards, but also two of the best audience recordings from the tour. I used the other two concerts to fill in the gaps where necessary. Once I knew I had everything covered, I then opted for the better performances of what was available.
Unfortunately, despite using the most complete recordings, there are a couple quirks in the soundboards, most notably gaps at the beginning of the Rain Song and Rock and Roll, and also some weird high-end fluctuations in Trampled Under Foot.
I think an interesting byproduct of this project is that it focuses on a part of the tour that isnt often listened to. Frankfurt and Zurich are two places that come to mind when thinking of the 1980 Tour Over Europe, and while those concerts are fantastic, I found it somewhat refreshing to use lesser-known concerts.
Id like to dedicate this project to everyone who bought Zeppelin tickets in late-summer 1980.
