Every Sunday in December, the New York Transit Museum operates their R1/9 (aka Arnines) in regular passenger service between 2 Av/Houston St on the F and 96 St on the Q. However, on its last round trip of the day, it was diverted through the 63 St Tunnel to Forest Hills due to presumed switch problems. This was the first time this train had operated with passengers in CBTC territory.
