Rare Phantom Life Glitch - Donkey Kong US Set 1. I managed to trigger this by finishing a level whilst 1 frame away from death which tricks the game into giving you an additional life however once the next level loads the game is able to correct itself and knows to take the life away again. I thought this was pretty interesting.
