Recently, Scripps Oceanography PhD candidate Anya Stajner stumbled upon a janthina, a marine gastropod mollusk that packs a purple punch. 🐚💜 We caught up with Anya and Linsey Sala, manager of the Pelagic Invertebrate Collection at Scripps, to learn more about these super cool snails!
