Rare Patek Philippe Pocket Watch Sold for 7x Its Low Estimate | Bidding Battles

An incredibly rare ref. 962/1J-001 Patek Philippe pocket watch brought the auction room to applause at #SothebysNewYork after auctioneer Lucius Elliott dropped the final hammer. There are only three examples of the reference 962, and this iteration with its Breguet numeral hour markers is the most unique among them.

The final result? Over 7X its low estimate and a grand total of $704,000.
