Rarearth is the tenth studio album by Detroit, MI funk-rock band Rare Earth. Every now and then an awesome record with a lot of copies slips through the cracks. This isn't a private pressing, or some rare experiment, this was an album by a platinum-selling rock band. Notably, this was the first successful all-white Motown band. This record is awesome, you wouldn't think white guys could funk like this but they sure did. The first eight minutes have right channel crackle due to a worn stamper; metal flakes are visible when held to light. Sorry about that. Enjoy, everyone!
