When Jesus said “no man knows the day or the hour”, most people think he's talking about the rapture. You tell someone that it could be possible to know the day, and that's the first thing out of their mouths!
In this video, I'm going to address this topic.

When Jesus said “no man knows the day or the hour”, he can’t be speaking about the Rapture. The Rapture is revealed by the Apostle Paul in 50 AD. Jesus is speaking to a live audience just before his death in 32 AD. He’s talking about his second coming.
Matt 24:3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
How can he be talking to a live audience about something that doesn’t exist yet? I can guarantee you that not one person in that audience is thinking that Jesus is talking about the rapture!
It is all about the second coming, when Jesus stands on the mount of Olives and the Mount Splits in two!
Zech 14:4 On that day his feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward.
This is a Jewish audience, they know Zech 14:4, Jesus is on the Mount of Olives speaking of his return to the Mount of Olives at his second coming. There is no rapture in the 24th chapter of Matthew.
When Jesus says no knows the day or the hour of his second coming but the father, that is not a permanent state. They have book of Daniel, once the antichrist defiles the temple, they can count the days to his return. It’s in the book of Daniel.
So a watchful person, a person who becomes a believer in Jesus Christ during the tribulation can know when Jesus will return. It is the unbelievers to who Jesus comes as a thief in the night, not the believer.
This concept of the believer knowing and the unbeliever not knowing is repeated multiple times in the New Testament.
1 Thess 5: 2-5 For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.
The “Day of the Lord” is not the rapture, it’s the tribulation. The coming of “That Day,” the tribulation, will not surprise us, the believer in Jesus Christ.
Most of you who are watching this channel, have been seeing the tribulation approaching for many years now.
Nowhere in the bible does it state the we can never know the day of the rapture.
People come to that conclusion by looking at some bible verses and ignoring other. And by taking them out of context. When Jesus says no man knows the day and the hour, they say he’s talking about the Rapture, but it can’t be, because it doesn’t exist yet. It has yet to be revealed.
In Matt 24:36 Jesus says “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.
The book of Revelation opens with this verse:
The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John.
So God the father, gives this revelation of the end times to Jesus, who makes it known to John, the disciple that Jesus loved, by sending his angel to John.
The book of Revelation was written in about 96 AD.
