Shoutout and thanks goes out to longtime subscriber, Raees Kamaar, for requesting this rockin' tune for the Subscriber Appreciation Event!

So, this one was a bit tricky at first, as the original was only a 30 second loop. In the beginning, I wasn't sure where I was going to go with this one. However, I knew that I definitely wanted to have it open up with some epic orchestral rendition of the song. Shortly after that, I chugged and noodled around to my heart's content!

I tried to stay true to the direction and spirit of the original. The original had this very heroic and triumphant-sounding air about it. I wanted to amplify that feeling a bit more, and I also wanted to impart a heavenly tone to this cover as well. I think that the additions of the choir and the clean-guitar/synth combo achieved this fairly well!

As I worked on this cover, I really got a sort of Ace Combat vibe from it all, so I certainly enjoyed myself while working on this one! Anyways, as always, I hope you all enjoy the cover and hope you all look forward to more covers! ~DAR
