Rapido is pleased to announce the ALCO/MLW C-424 and ALCO C-425.
And we have a contest! Of course, there are rules. And here they be:
The first person to email us with the names of all of the locations (either real name or Doctor Who name) and at least one story that was filmed in each location, will receive a free sound-equipped HO or N locomotive, either from stock or as a pre-order. The location must be a specific neighbourhood, street or landmark. It cannot just be city or country.
For example, "Trafalgar Square" is acceptable while "London" is not. Or, for Amy's house, you can say "Amy's house," "Leadworth," or "Rhymney." All would be acceptable. Unfortunately, neither Amy's house nor Trafalgar Square appears in the video...
If you get them all correct and you include the two extra locations in the post-credits sequence, you will get a free freight car as well!
To enter, simply visit rapidotrains.com or rapidotrains.ca and message us through the "Order inquiry" link on the "Contact Us" page. Send us your complete list. The first person to get the list completely right will win the contest. In your submission, you also need to include:
Your name
Address
Email Address
Phone Number
Your earliest memory of Doctor Who
If we do not have a 100% correct answer by December 15 2025, we will award the prize(s) to the person with the most correct answers.
This contest is open to everyone on the planet who is over 14 and is not a Rapido employee. Free shipping is included unless you live in some obscure place that the normal courier companies don't go to, like Ababwa.
