The old expression, you can judge a book by its cover, usually holds true. The book "Bible facts" is all about various aspects of people, places and things in the Bible and its cover reflects this subject. On the cover of this book about the Dead Sea Scrolls is a picture of a dead sea scroll. On the cover of my book, NTGH Dictionary is an image of a Hebrew and a Greek manuscript. When I first came across the cover for the "Word of Yah," a supposed translation of ancient Hebrew scrolls of the New Testament I at first glance believed that the image on this book was of these ancient scrolls. But then I realized that there was something very familiar about that image. After going through my research on the Dead Sea Scrolls I found it, at the Wikimedia Commons Website. This is an image of Psalm 145 from the Dead Sea Scrolls.
I wonder why a person supposedly in possession of Ancient Hebrew scrolls of the NT would choose to use a photograph from the Dead Sea Scrolls for its cover? What's more, is that no where in the book is the reader told that the cover image is not of these Ancient scrolls and the reader is left to assume it is. In this case, you can not judge a book by its cover.
