(Astel fight starts at 42:25) This video will show you a comprehensive guide to completing Ranni’s questline in Elden Ring. There will be walkthroughs for every part of Ranni’s quest, as well as for Blaidd, Seluvis, and Iji’s quests. I will also show you how to get to Ainsel River Main, how to get to Lake of Rot, how to get to Nokron, and how to beat Astel, Naturalborn of the Void.

-You do NOT need to give the Amber Draught to Ranni once you get it from Seluvis. He will give you the Magic Scorpion Charm, and then you can just not give Ranni the Draught. If you don't give it to her, then you can talk to Seluvis about Nokron (mentioned around 24:00) and that will initiate the Radahn Festival. If you DID give it to her, then Seluvis will be dead and so you obviously can't talk to him. However, resting at a site of grace in the Altus Plateau will trigger the Radahn Festival anyway, so you can still complete Ranni's quest, you just miss out on a little bit of dialogue.
-How to get to Ainsel River Main as fast as possible: To get to Ainsel, Nokron, Lake of Rot, etc. you need to beat Radahn, which causes a shooting star to open a crater in Limgrave that leads to Nokron. I have a guide about Radahn linked below, but essentially the fastest way to get to him is to get the Dectus Medallion pieces from Fort Haight and Fort Faroth (I show these in this video), then go to the Grand Lift of Dectus and ride it up to the Altus Plateau. Rest at any site of grace in Altus, and that will trigger the Radahn Festival, which will allow you to fight Radahn. When you beat him, you can go down to Nokron and get to the Fingerslayer Blade. You won’t be able to open the chest with the Blade until you talk to Ranni and start her quest, so go do that and then you can come back and get the Fingerslayer Blade. Give it to Ranni, and then go to Renna’s Rise and take the teleporter to Ainsel River Main. From there it only takes about 10 minutes to finish Ranni’s questline and get the Darkmoon Greatsword, or get to the Moonlight Altar and get Black Knife Tiche, etc.
