Although people think that today's billionaires are the richest people in the entirety of our history, it simply isn't true, let's go ahead and talk about some of the richest people ever.
Luxurious Life Countdown:
#1 - Agustus Caeser:
Augustus Caesar was in charge of an empire that accounted for 25%-30% of the world's economic output at his time. Augustus at one point held personal wealth equivalent to one-fifth of his empire's economics, that fortunate would be the equivalent in today's time to about $4.6 trillion dollars in 2019.
#2 - Emperor Shenzong:
China's song dynasty from 960 to 1279 was probably one of the most economically powerful empires of all time. According to Professor Ronald Edwards, a Chinese economic historian of the Song dynasty at Tom Kang university, the nation accounted for between 25 and 30% of the world's economic output during its peak.
#3 - Cornelius Vanderbilt:
One of the most famous names in American history was built by Cornelius Vanderbilt. He was a man who came to fortune through the building of railroads and shipping lines during the eighteen hundreds(1800).
#4 - William "The Conqueror":
Best known for becoming the first Norman King of England, William rain from 10 at 66 to 10 87. And he led the final successful invasion of England becoming a Monarch after setting out to dispose of one.
#5 - Tsar Nicholas II
Nicholas II, it's mostly famous for being the last emperor of Russia before the country's fall during the Russian revolution. Both he and his family were eventually executed in 1918 and notably Nicholas II became a Saint after being recognized by the Russian Orthodox church and is well-known as the wealthiest Saint in human history at $300 billion dollars.
#6 - John D. Rockefeller:
Now the Rockefeller name is deeply ingrained in American history. John D Rockefeller's $340 billion fortune still stands today as nearly the largest the world has ever seen. Born in 1839, in New York, he grew to be prominent over the lifetime as the co-founder of the standard oil and as one of the revolutionaries of the energy and petroleum industries. Rockefeller is also well known for his philanthropy, founding two colleges during his lifetime and the University of Chicago and Rockefeller University.
#7 - Andrew Carnegie:
Andrew Carnegie was an incredibly wealthy and powerful industrialist and came to prominence during the mid-eighteen hundreds(the 1800s), by the steel industry, having been born in Scotland, Carnegie came from a very poor family that entered the United States in the late 1840s. After successfully investing in a number of ventures, Carnegie's founded the US steel Corp, which would actually earn him most of his $310 billion fortune. He is also known for giving away almost all of his fortune and is remembered as one of the world's most foremost philanthropists.
