With Sonic x Shadow Generation just around the corner, I've took it upon myself to replay through the original Sonic generations, and see if it's brilliant level design still holds up. Safe to say, Sonic Generations still remains the BEST Sonic game with the boost formula, and some of the best level design I've seen in a platforming game. So join me, as I rank every level in Sonic Generations, from least to greatest.
