My final video of 2025 is here. This took over 16 hours of recording and over 100 hours of editing.
Today I rank every job from Sly 3 Honor Among Thieves to celebrate its 20th birthday this year. Translating my passion for this series into a tier list is never easy, and this video is no exception.
I've had a bit of a rocky relationship with this game, at one point being my least favorite in the series. The combat regressing in quality, the artstyle growing apart from that charming, comic book snap motion, the levels over-diversifying the gameplay across dozens of new mini games.
But I recorded an entirely separate playthrough of this game from my streams of this game from earlier in the year. And I deliberately did so to go back into things with an open and critical mindset so I could rank each level as fairly as possible.
And in this 2nd playthrough I found new love for just about every level in this game. The gameplay of this series finale certainly isn't for everyone, and I typically prefer the gameplay of the previous 2 installments, but every inch of Sly 3 just oozes love and care from the developers.
The mini games can be all over the place in terms of quality, but once you get the hang of them they become an enjoyably silly bit of gaming.
I hope my takes on this game can help you find new love for the series as well.
