Version 3 of Honkai: Star Rail is finally here! To kick it off I wanted to make a full tier list detailing every character's current performance in the game.
(PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING ANY COMMENTS):
- Tier Lists are entirely subjective and not meant to be used as a factual reference. This is purely for entertaiment purposes. That being said I tried my best to get this peer reviewed by many credible names in the HSR guide and theorycrafting community while standing by my own choices based on opinion.
- Waifu over Meta. Play who you want to play.
- Tier list is NOT ORDERED WITHIN TIERS (it's just ordered chronologically by release)
- Tier list grading is based on a spectrum not a hard cutoff. A character's placement on a tier isn't uniform (so if you ask "why is X char in the same tier as Y char. For ex: Y char might be 90/100 while X char might be 99/100 but both are still in 9x/10 tier)
- This tier list will not factor specific cycles and will be based on general usage. Hyper specific situations are disregarded since that can undeservedly skew the practical usefulness of a character in their favor.
- Eidolons are applied on a case by case basis (5 stars will be graded based on E2 maximum - anything higher will be ignored due to being too expensive).
