Song: Manavyala, a, composition of Tyagaraja in Raga Nalinakanti, Adi Tala.
Ranjani and Gayatri, iconic classical musicians from South India, present a composition of Tyagaraja set to Adi Tala. Tyagaraja is one of the greatest composers from the 18th century and Manavyala is embellished by a brief alapana in Raga Nalinakanti ( prelude to the composition) and kalpanaswaras( at the end of the composition) both of which are creative elements that the musicians spontaneously perform.
