Part 1 of my Japan Historical playthrough in Hearts of Iron 4. We step into the shoes of Imperial Japan - a powerful state marred by several severe issues. Being an island nation with few natural resources, Japan was his particularly hard by the Great Depression and the ensuing tarrifs. Without the ability to trade, Japan instead used its powerful military to seize the resources it needs from its neighbors. But by doing so, Japan has made itself a pariah on the world stage. Feeling as if it has no real choice, how far will Japan go to acquire the resources that it needs?
