About:
Aggressive Raisin Cat, formerly known as ARC, is a progressive metalcore band from Singapore. This is my cover of their secondary single "Ramen".

Despite this cover coming out literally as the third in a row from a sudden burst of uploads, this project was actually months in the making! Unlike my previous quick-soundtracks, this piece of music required many more days & sessions, each to focus on a specific aspect of the final draft.
The mixing template was taken from a project that was younger than Jolayne, but older than Vyrez (hence the reason why it sounds like this in tonal quality).

There, the instrumental was done first, as best as possible by ear and within the limits of the available technology (as well as creative intents). Between the guitar solo and the harsh vocals, the solo was requested first.
With the instrumental done, then came the vocal recording sessions. Most of the time taken up from the overall production duration was from vocals. My clean singing was taken in multiple sessions (with a lot of chicken sounds coming from yours truly), and the very last thing was requesting the harsh vocals.
