Rakuen (the game I have been developing for the past four years) is FINALLY OUT ON STEAM ^___^
Rakuen is an adventure game about a Boy who lives in the hospital. One day he asks his Mom if she'll escort him to the fantasy world from his favorite storybook, in order to ask the great Forest Guardian, Morizora to grant him one wish. Together, the Boy and his Mom search out special doors that lead between the hospital and fantasy world, and they set off on a great journey. In order to receive a wish, the Boy must complete a set of challenges that revolve around helping his neighbors in the hospital by interacting with their alter-egos in the fantasy world.
You'll meet a lot of interesting creatures in Morizora's Cave... the Minimori are small owl-like creatures who always have a number attached to their name that represents the order in which they came into the world. The Truffulos are snobby upper-class mushrooms that eat sandwiches filled with dirt and believe heartily in their superiority over all other mushrooms. There are the Golems who enjoy roughhousing, and a guild comprised of a Sunflower, Leeble, and Sky Bud called "No Holds Bard!!!" (with exactly 3 exclamation points, and the intentional pun) that meets every week to let out their frustration through music. But watch out for the Envoy... they are not as friendly as the others.
