Born from a natural impulse upon returning from Vietnam, 'Stories" tells the emotions Rakoon experienced during his journey — a tribute to the country that left such a deep mark on him.
When the time came to release the single, a classic live session just didn’t feel right. While in Da Lat, Rakoon the Đấy collective — passionate lovers of electronic music who strive to capture how culture and tradition live on in the simple moments of everyday life. Their vision immediately resonated.
Together, they set up a live session in the heart of the bustling Mỹ Thành market. Surrounded by warmth, smiles, and the vibrant energy of the local vendors, Rakoon performed a short set made almost entirely of tracks inspired by Vietnam — bringing the music back to the place that inspired it.
This session is more than a performance. It’s a homecoming. A way to share a deeply emotional journey, captured with authenticity, in the very land that nurtured its creation.
