🇬🇧 Rakoon presents the official video of his latest single "Hoi An". This ballad has a very special place in his new album "Something Precious" as it symbolises for him the (re)discovery of something precious. To turn these emotions into images, the producer teamed up with Studio Cabriole, who conceived a fine papercut animation, its favourite technique. By exposing the raw textures and alterities of the paper, the two directors wanted to take their distance with the use of digital technologies. A precious moment to let yourself flow, along the water, in this smooth and colourful world.
🇫🇷 Rakoon présente le clip officiel de son dernier morceau "Hoi An". Cette balade occupe une place toute particulière dans son nouvel album "Something Precious" car elle symbolise pour lui la (re)découverte de ce quelque chose de précieux.
Pour mettre ces émotions en images, le producteur a fait appel au Studio Cabriole qui a décidé de proposer une animation fine et subtile en papier découpé, son matériel de prédilection. Les deux réalisatrices ont souhaité faire oublier l'usage du numérique en mettant en valeur les altérités et textures du papier. Un moment précieux pour vous laisser porter, au fil de l’eau, dans ce monde coloré et apaisant.
