Kunal Nayyar just played an alternate version of Raj Koothrappali from The Big Bang Theory.
Nayyar reprised his role as Raj for the new HBO Max show “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe”. The sci-fi comedy follows comic book store owner Stuart as he tries to save the universe from a mutli-dimensional collapse caused by a device malfunction that Sheldon, Leonard and Howard created.
Each episode takes place in a different alternate universe, with Episode 6 taking place in a universe where humans eat grass, and where Raj is paranoid that the universe is collapsing.
The last time Nayyar played the role was in Episode 1 of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, and before that, in 2019, when the final episode of The Big Bang Theory Season 12 aired.
