At six-months-old, Sophie Boguszewski was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. She was fortunate to hit all her milestones during six months of chemotherapy and had a normal childhood.
She doesn’t remember much from the days of doctor visits. She also doesn’t take anything for granted. Now a junior special education major at UofL, Sophie extends her genuine ability to care and be compassionate. As a future teacher and advocate for children, she is a true Cardinal leader.
