Today we're diving into the book of 2 Kings as we explore a powerful reminder that God is present in both the blessings and the trials of our lives.
Using distress oxides, stencils, and iridescent paste, I'm creating a mixed media Bible journaling page inspired by rain. Rain can represent abundance, growth, provision, and answered prayers—but it can also symbolize difficult seasons, uncertainty, and hardship. Throughout the books of Kings, we see God's hand at work through victories and defeats, times of abundance and seasons of discipline. He remains sovereign over it all.
That same truth is still true today. God is working through our celebrations and our struggles, our wins and our losses. Even when we don't understand His plans, we can trust that His hands are holding every part of our story.
